Andy Garber is a seasoned consultant with over 35 years of experience and more than 25 in business and executive leadership focused on creating and growing businesses at Deloitte. Since retiring from Deloitte in June 2020, Andy has been working with several PE firms as an Advisor focused on professional services, digital and technology opportunities.
As Managing Partner for Corporate Development & Growth at Deloitte, Andy evaluated the enterprise potential from new technologies including Cloud, AI, Digital, ERP and Analytics and then drove more than $2B of growth through 15 small/midsize acquisitions and integrations, investments in startup and growth businesses, and the completion of 3 global JVs. He led the Strategy and Operations practice from 2003-2008; under his leadership it grew from $250M to $1B allowing it to acquire and integrate Monitor and achieve $2.5B of revenue. In that role he led the recruitment, integration and development of more than 100 senior leaders. Working in tandem with the technology and human capital practices, his vision and actions helped Deloitte to become a market leader in professional services.
A proven business builder, he has the track record and skills to work closely with management teams to identify trends, develop executable strategies and drive the investment, operations and talent necessary to achieve sustained growth. Andy is most passionate about helping leadership teams achieve strong growth and create value. His unique background as management consultant, operating executive and business builder makes him uniquely valuable as an advisor/ board member to companies and investors in an era of digital transformation.
Andy splits his time between Atlanta and the South Carolina Coast. He enjoys coaching and mentoring several startup entrepreneurs. He is committed to golf, dabbles in fly fishing, and enjoys exploring new off the beaten path restaurants whenever he travels.
